In the coolest part of the vineyard the Riesling ripens slowly, allowing its delicate characters to blossom. This has pungent aromas of mandarin rind and talc which carry through to a fine fruit driven palate that has lingering zesty flavours and a minerally finish.
This is a delight to drink now with whiting fillets but will reward the patient for 8 years or more.
