WildChild Malbec is our more adventurous take on this much loved variety. Made from the same estate grown fruit as our classic malbec, WildChild follows a different path in the winery, with a lighter touch of oak allowing the fruit to take centre stage. The result is a brighter, more vibrant expression that showcases the variety’s natural character and freshness.
On the nose, WildChild opens with aromas of ripe plum, blackberry and dark cherry, layered with hints of violet and subtle spice. The palate is juicy and expressive, with soft tannins and lively fruit carrying through to a long, smooth finish. The restrained oak influence adds texture and complexity without overshadowing the wine’s generous fruit profile.
Approachable and ready to enjoy now, WildChild Malbec is a versatile food wine that pairs beautifully with grilled meats, wood-fired pizza, pasta dishes and casual gatherings with friends.
